Neighbors Emergency Center Proud to Serve Texarkana in First Year
HOUSTON, Texas, July 7, 2017 – Neighbors Emergency Center Texarkana is pleased to recognize its first year of service to the local community. Neighbors Emergency Center Texarkana began seeing patients on July 5, 2016 and reports nearly 3,300 patients have received top-quality ER care at this location since it opened. The Texarkana center is located at 2001 Mall Dr., 75503. The center’s phone number is 903-306-2126.
In its first year, Neighbors Texarkana achieved the Gold Seal of Approval by The Joint Commission, a nationally recognized independent accreditation organization committed to certifying facilities with the safest, highest quality, best-value health care.
For freestanding emergency centers (FECs), this is a volunteer accreditation. Neighbors willingly holds itself to a higher standard of quality operation and clinical care than other FECs who have chosen not to pursue this rigorous accreditation. This elite endorsement aligns with Neighbors’ purpose of providing extraordinary care that is dedicated to Making Lives Better every day.
The Texarkana location’s Medical Director is Shannon Spigener, MD, and the Facility Director is Blake George, RN. Neighbors is a product of the community with medical teams living near the centers they work; therefore, Neighbors is aligned with local organizations and events that are important to the community and the patients it serves.
“We have been so happy with the reception we have received from the community as a whole and from our patients,” said Spigener. “It’s been a great year of growth, getting to know the people of this area and having the pleasure of introducing them to Neighbors and the concierge emergency medicine service we offer. We have also been fortunate to participate in and even sponsor many local events. It’s been a very successful year and we look forward to an even better future.”
Neighbors Texarkana has taken part in many important local events with meaningful organizations over this last year. Being active in, and connected to, the Texarkana community is paramount to Neighbors, and part of what makes Neighbors Emergency Center the industry leader in freestanding ER care.
