  • Neighbors Emergency Center Amarillo Invites Community to Save a Life at Blood Drive on April 7

HOUSTON, Texas, April 3, 2018 – Neighbors Emergency Center Amarillo will proudly sponsor a blood drive on Saturday, April 7. The blood drive will be from 10 AM to 1 PM at Neighbors Emergency Center Amarillo, located at 2105 South Western St., 79109. The center’s telephone number is 806-353-3200.

Neighbors is partnering with Coffee Memorial Blood Center. Each donor will receive a Neighbors shirt, a Coffee Memorial shirt, a recovery pack of snack and a drink after their donation and a chance to win a $50 gift card to either Joe Taco, Joe Daddy’s or Macaroni Joe’s.

Each pint of blood donated could help save up to three lives, so Neighbors is asking Amarillo residents to make a difference and give this lifesaving gift at the center.

“As one of Amarillo’s freestanding ERs, we understand the importance of people sacrificing their time to donate blood,” said Neighbors Emergency Center Amarillo Facility Director Christopher Heath, RN. “Every donation is important and can save the life of someone here in the Panhandle. We love our city and those that live in and around us. Donating blood is a selfless way you can give a part of yourself to a greater cause. We commend and honor all those who choose to donate and give the gift of life.”

Neighbors’ blood drive is a direct link with the company’s values of having a genuine, compassionate heart and being loyal to the communities we are privileged to serve.
